Eleora Beauty Inc was inspired by the experiences of the co-founder, Eleora Ogundare. Eleora who was born with the sickle cell anemia and after over eight years of living with the disease and it’s attendant pain and stigma, In 2015 she underwent a stem cell transplant the leading edge of treatment and cure for the condition at that time.

As part of the treatment, she had sessions of chemotherapy which led to extensive hair loss. Managing sickle cell and the whole process involved in the treatment and cure was a very difficult and trying period for Eleora and the family but as a young girl Eleora found the loss of her hair most traumatic and such a blow to her self confidence.

The prospect of going back to school without hair was a huge concern and source of significant stress for her and the whole family. Mama was now on a mission to find safe and natural roots, herbs and oils that will restore and grow Eleora’s hair and she did!
